Community Connections-Economic Development Plan
 
Your Chamber of Commerce along with the Carroll County Economic Development Corporation have worked to promote and retain business (jobs) within our county. In a collaborative effort we have (12) proposed projects that have been presented to our County Government. To fund these projects we have requested the County Council and the County Commissioners dedicate an EDIT tax increase of .15%. It is our belief that these projects will:
 

(a) bring new businesses to the county
(b) help retain the businesses that currently exist
(c) increase a diverse and healthy economic tax base within the county

The next Chamber of Commerce Informational Series Luncheon (formerly Business to Business) will be on Wednesday, August 13th at noon at the Flora Library.  The topic for discussion is "Workforce Development".
The cost for the meal is $7.50 and we need your RSVP by Monday, August 11th.  Please respond by email to: julia@carrollcountychamber.com or call the Chamber office at 765-564-6757.

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Annual Legislative Dinner will be held on
Monday, August 11 at 6:00 p.m. at the Delphi Canal Interpretive Center.

and State Representative
Rich McClain
will be our guest speakers.

The public is invited to attend this free dinner catered by Burlington Meats and Catering.
