Funding & Training Programs For Your Biz

We offer a variety of ways for you to increase your business knowledge and have options for funding.

Loan Program

Thanks to funding from the USDA, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce (CCCC) has a low interest revolving loan pool for businesses with less than 50 employees and less than $1 million in gross annual sales located in Carroll County. Funds can be used for a variety of business-related expenses.

Start-up businesses (less than 2 years old) are strongly encouraged to complete the CCCC BizExcel Business Planning and Management Course and complete a business plan from the course or you may submit an approved business plan to apply.

Existing business (2 years or older) may apply directly to the program manager, Amy Beechy of Project Matters, LLC at  amy@projectmattersllc.com or call 574-709-7955 for details.

Training Funds

This unique money is available to business owners in Carroll County. Through a grant from the USDA, CCCC BizExcel can pay for training needs of our small businesses with less than 50 employees and less than $1 million in gross annual sales.  This money does not have to be repaid.  Eligible activities for training funds include market research, consulting services, service training, education, related trade show associations, conferences and more.

Business Planning & Management Course

The course will be offered in the Spring and Fall, beginning Fall 2021. This in-depth course exposes students to best practices of business management and business planning. Topics include: developing your business plan (you will complete one in this class), marketing, financial statements, financing your business and much more.

Business Counseling

Contact the CCCC to schedule FREE, one on one business counseling with an experienced counselor from the Hoosier Heartland Small Business Development Center. The counselors offer expert advice on a wide range of topics to new or existing business owners.  Meetings by appointment only. Director@CarrollCountyChamber.com or call 765-564-6757.
